QUENTIN MUMPHERY

A native of Chicago’s south side, Pastor Mumphery is the Founder and Senior Pastor of New Hope Covenant Church – a church plant on the southeast side of Chicago. In addition to his pastoral role, Pastor Mumphery has a passion for training, equipping and educating emerging leaders – having developed workshops and training curriculum, for hundreds of leaders over the last decade.
Pastor Mumphery is adjunct instructor for North Park University, and has nearly two decades of experience working in the field of education – having held leadership positions with the Chicago Public School, Camelot Education, and North Park University. He has also previously developed college-readiness programming with a 100% acceptance rate for students into four-year colleges and universities.
Pastor Mumphery a graduate of Whitney M. Young Magnet H.S and the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also received his Master’s degree from North Park Theological Seminary. His passion for leadership, justice, education, and civic engagement has also led him to serve in a volunteer capacity with numerous civil rights and non-profit organizations, such as Rainbow PUSH, the Chicago Urban League, and numerous others.
